L28E Swap... Anyone done this?

I was thinking about swapping to a L28E into my rx7.

From the Importsnc website:

Ok.. going back to an older swap i was thinking about an L28 swap... thats the Inline 6 motor and tranny out of a 280zx... it is built quite weak with 145hp... but that can be easily upgraded with intake, full exhaust, flywheel, clutch kit, and fuel system upgrades... Im basically getting a 280zx 5 speed with 50,000 miles on it for free, its my dads old one, the body is completely rusted out but the motor will still crank-up and go.. So what about this swap just got to find someone to help me make some motor mounts and do a little wiring since its an older car like early 80's maybe late 70's(i'll find more about that thursday) it should be fairly simple to wire up.. The good thing is that it will have the torque i need and i can find a LD28 Crank i can make the L28 from a 2.8 to a 3.1L motor.. but I want peoples thoughts on this... it should be alot cheaper on my money since its free...

Sounds like a good swap to me, but....you might want to go over to V8RX7FORUM and check out the forums there. You will get a lot more response there.

Nah....not worth it. I'd favor swapping an RB25 in over an L28....
