Tired of RX-3s
it feels like my RX-3s arent cutting it anymore, I used to get excited just thinking of what I upgrade I will do next but lately, i have been bored coz its no longer a challenge. Just like what BB King said, "The thrill is Gone." I'm thinking of switching to other projects like a 70-72 Datsun 240Z or 74 Mercury Capri or a 70's Dodge Colt, or a 70s BMW 2002 or even the 70s VW Scirocco.
Do you guys feel the same? or its just me needing more heines
Here are the before and after:
project 1
project 2
project 3 - painted, interior has been re-done, suspension upgrade to FB in rpogress, undecided on which motor to run

My first rotary project was a '71 Dodge Colt. I got it for $250 cash and it ran (with the Diamond Star 4-banger). Cool cars.
I got it because as I drove by it, I only caught it out of the corner of my eye and I thought "Holy ****! Is someone selling an Rx-3?!"

The problem is you guys are spoiled by being able to drive these cars year round. What you need is a good solid 5 months of snow like we have here in Canada. In the fall I'm sick of driving my Rx-7, but by spring the urge is back to get behind the wheel. Don't ditch the cars, just take a break.

Just drink more Wacky. Although, I came from a '73 240Z myself, and they are awesome cars to deal with. Super easy to work on, and great performance and styling.

yeah I hear you guys. Too many cars and not enough time to play, but when I roll, I roll hard. But on the other hand, I have been working on cars since I was 16 so it has been close to 30 years in the rotary scene. To date, I have owned at least 30 RX (consists of RX-3s, RX-4s, REPUs, FBs and FCs). Don’t get me wrong, working in old RXs keeps me in check but it seems like I haven’t accomplished anything and still not content. Maybe I should get rid of my 60's-80's CDs particularly my Neil Young collection (…I’m searching for a heart of gold , Im getting old)

Trust me they don't want him back. Last time he went back to PI... the moment he stepped out of the plane with his flip flops on, security came and took his *** away. Then puts him in a container heading back to port of LA. imagine that....

Wacky... you're talking crazy, rotaries are in your blood. Although I have to admit to having a soft spot for 510's. You Cali guys have it good, most of the nice stuff here in the East rotted away years ago!!
