guys i didn't sell a car for the chick, I did it for my own reasons beyond my control...it was the right thing to do...The mom put herself out there fronting up $1500 to buy the crx off of me for her son...

Then for her son to turn around and say he don't want it...I never really got a long with the son...But the mom and i always had a good relationship...and she was a really nice person...

I did this if anything for myself, and it was only right i did so...After the duce was sold and gone...it was a huge relief factor for me to give her the money back, and take the burden of that car back in my hands...Took a lil longer while to get rid of the crx again just because of all the reg fee's that were backed up...lean holds...and the outside body wrk needed...but either way everything worked out for the best...

And having that weight on my shoulders was finally all gone..

The duce is in a good home now by a forum member who posted on the last page...

Since then and two and some change years later...i came up on another duce to call my own...And is in the process of getting running...

Im so happy things worked out the way they did...everything happens for a reason...and that lil road bump in my life with crx, the duce, the sale, and returning the money was all worth while...was a small lesson learned to never sell to close friends and fam...

Im really not angry or upset by this...its kinda weird...lol..

This is why I do not do business with family, got screwed on it once by my mom and won't ever do it again for love or money. But because of this, I ended up getting my FC out of necessity and learning the skills to turn my own wrenches. So everything worked out OK.

I know you're a nice guy Teddyrx2, but the kid that bought the CRX with mommy's money needed to man up, pay his mom back for it since you spelled out what it needed and he agreed to it. If he couldn't or didn't want to do it, that's his problem, not yours. He should have done the homework first before saying that he wanted it.

your decision, and nothing more needs to be said, you need not explain yourself to others on this

all that really matters is that you are happy with the end result. A man must do what he has to, all else (from the crowd of mouths) is BS. end result you are happy and have a new project car.

PS but sincereley bro.....I have finally found someone uglier than me cheers

Why didnt the brother just sell the CRX if he didnt want it? If he knew what he was buying and had it for 2 months then changes his mind because he couldnt afford to fix or it have the time to do so then thats his business. Don't drop the karma card, theres nothing karma about it. What are you going to do if the new owner of the rx2 comes back in 2 months and has decided he doesnt have the money or time to finish it? Sell the SA to buy it back and lose another pride and joy....

And all for a FRIENDSHIP with a girl.... LMFAO

Sorry pal, situation sux but you should've handled it WAAAAAAAY differently.

If this chick is NOT yanking your chain. LET HER GO. If she's a banana hanger and GOOD at it than, you might wanna keep her.

You do realize this deal was DONE the month you joined the forum don't you?

The car is in a good home and has been mated with mine to keep my IMSA RS car alive. It lives in the corner of my shop until I can get back to it(too many projects)

I had a similar problem once, Had a GSL-SE and an 87 Drop Top and a woman in my life nagging about selling the 85 since it had bad seals and was not in running order joust taking up space in a storage, So I told her (See the convertible out there in the driveway, I am going to sell one but that one the Convertible will still be here when you are gone) eight years latter she is gone and I have a good woman with bigger **** that supports my RX's since I have joust got another GSL-SE and the Drop Top is still here I guess everything turned out for the best but the story still stands, The Car will never betray you if you take care of it... the Woman still might no matter what you do! Joust my 2c...
