so gold plating?

iam thinking of gold plating my intake manifold for my cosmo i know this will reflect heat and the in side would be completely smoothed out i would like to get some opinions on this. there should be some performance advantage.

Spend that money elsewhere.... You will see NO advantage in performance....

The way I have always understood the intake manifold is that a perfectly smooth inside surface is not as good as it sounds .. reason being the intake system needs tiny bit of turbulent air right on the surface of the intake plenums to keep the fuel from coming out of suspension and causing droplets . If the surface was perfect smooth the fuel vapor would not have a buffer zone so to speak and would touch the sides and condense and run down the sides promoting poor ignition burn . Remember gas doesn't burn the gas vapor burns . As for the outside buy your mama a new gold ring it will do you a lot more good . JMO Have a good one. Gerald m.
