Since stuntman just dug up this thread, I figured I'd give this an update since 510wagon hasn't yet. He's told me that they've sold the Wagon, and bought a 4-door 510. And he received the front cover oil pan etc in the mail.

Hopefully I didn't ruin the suprise

no we bought a 2 door! and sold the wagon. but we wont be getting the 2 door for awhile, and we need to get the wagon back together. The 2 door has no int in it, so it will have racing seats, dash, and roll bar. might build it too specs for Targa race, in newfoundland.

ya make the cage and stuff too spec and if it works good then some day there could be a nice little trip. this is the one http://halifax.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehi...QAdIdZ28211781

but the pics are bad no motor in it or any thing the hood is just sitting on it but we get all the parts we need for it. it will be a longer project but better for us in the long run.

I have seen it before. But, since the engine is in a 510 and the crossmember is going to be custom anyways, why not use a cheap available replacement, like a polyurethane mount for a domestic car?

I'm not sure if I'm using the mounts from the rx7 or not on the tranny i probably will. like in the other pics on here. i don't think the cross member will be cut either. now that i have the oil pan and front cover. but the motor mounts on the 510 will need to be cut off. i haven't really been working on this stuff i have been too busy getting the wagon back and stock again. too get it out of my garage then i will go pick up the 2 door.

Could you just drill some holes in the Datsun tunnel and use the TII crossmember?

wagon is gone but we have a new project plans so far is keep going with the 13b and 2 racing seats and full cage. couple little rust spots but not much. the car is already lowered, big sway bars an old Datsun racing wheel. 13" slot rims with 205's no motor in the car but we were given a l20 so we now have two l20's and in the car is a Muncie racing transmission (4 speed) so this is a bigger project but a better car to cut up kinda.so its just a better for us. here is a pic.
