12A Powered Hovercraft

Recently a customer brought us in a 12A powered hovercraft for rebuild. The engine had seized. It is now rebuilt and will be reinstalled in the next week or so. After he breaks in the engine we should be able to get some video of it running on one of the local lakes. I figured I would share a few pics, and here is a link to the rebuild http://www.banzai-racing.com/2011_cu..._breakdown.htm

New rebuilt yellow and black to match the craft

about 10 years ago there used to be a couple of 13b powered hovercraft on the swan river for lease ( perth , oz )
( till the council banned them for noise )

a few years later one of them popped up very locally to me for sale,, sadly funds did not permit

this one is a very neat find ,, and a nice job,, i am very jealous ...enjoy

This has a full muffler system that exits the rear of the craft, you can hardly hear when it is running.

that's good, i actually very much dislike a straight piped rotary.. it just sounds horrible. at least up until about 6k+ RPMs and standing about a mile away.
