Question 12a or 13b

is the 12a a good engine 2 go wit or the 13b people say stay wit the 12a and turbo charge it is that true

12A parts are WAY cheaper, by the way. A gasket kit will run 1/3 the cost of a NA 13B, just because owners of newer cars will pay more money. Besides, you can find used 12A parts everywhere.

with both running the same port configuration, they each make pretty much the same amount of hp but u'll get more torque with the 13b.

Port it. If unhappy, port it more. If you get into the water jacket, just rinse and repeat.

12A MFR P-Port!...or find an import 12A turbo motor, add a stand-alone fuel computer, decent size turbo and you'll have the time of your life.
