Wet Vacc'ed
Today I discoverd about an inch of water in my spare tire area, first time I've looked at it. So, I pulled the straps off, removed the underlayment, thn took out the spare and vacc'ed out the water. Checked the two "drain tubes at the bottom of the hatch, but they are attached and clear. No tellin how long the water has been in there. Have to keep my eye on the seals now, but they look good.

I use to dig chevy luvs (I wanted to put a rotary in mine rather than a V8) but the repus are even cooler little trucks. but I'd never do what I was going to do to my chevy luv. I was gonna drop the **** out of it and drag it everywhere. laying sparks. I couldn't do that to a REPU though. If I ever come accoss another free chevy luv I'll still drag it around.

I finally got my 88 gxl running. Had a bad ignitor in the trailing coil as well as the ignition timing being WAY out. ( Bought this car from a friend of mine) She smokes like hell though. So the next step is find out if the smoke is just from exsessive oil in the exhaust due to the hours of cranking to get this damn thing to run, or if there is another issue. Baby steps, my friend baby steps. Oh key note. the compression is at 90 psi give or take one or two psi.

although when the rx7 does get attention i think the hx40 is really gonna wake it up, tweak and i are gonna do some h20 injection and go for 20 psi, hope it holds if not, guess ill go the smart route and ls1 it lol.

My R wagon is AWD turbo as well, great for winter, less noticeable when I'm driving it than when I'm driving my FD. Even other modded Volvos don't spot me lol I'm tryin to change jobs and then use my money for a 3" exhaust dual exits, 18t turbo, and boost controller for the wagon. 18 psi and 350+hp/375+tq (crank). It's currently using a 16t and 15 psi with my flash. ~285hp/293tq. Ratings are about 15hp extra per psi increase on a 16t. realistically the whp will probably be in the low-mid 200's but it will be quick none-the-less. 13 second Volvo wagon is all I want for my DD

Today I ..
mounted my stock coil over my two remaining high output coils for my DLIDFIS setup.(some moron *me* dropped a crecent wrench and broke off both posts on a brand new coil) Attached my temp sensor with the "correct" wire. Re-installed my hood and adjusted it, put on new headlights and bled my clutch.

well when I replaced the turbo, I removed the ACV and air pump and blocked it off. I kept the hose for the sillencer intact and I guess it was just hanging to close to the turbo. I caught it fast enough. I recognized the sparks flying out the back.
anyways I installed a fire extinguisher today. so I'll be prepared if it ever happens again. and I won't have to spray sticky soda all over the engine bay.
