WA Bridgeports.

Is there anyon here with a bridgy? I'm still cought up in this internal debate. I want a car that will run low 12's high 11's and I know I can do it turbo, but I'm just so hung up on doing a bridgy. I'd like to hear one in real life so my hope is that there is one I might see one day. NE1 got one? Thing is that I've got a friend with a 10 second daily driven Mudstain, and I've got to atleast keep close to him. If I do it turbo he can say I needed boost, but N/A would be so much more of a slap in the face to his displacement.

Damian has a 13b one in his green drag car; but don't think he's that fast.

Was that in the grey FD with the body kit and the single turbo?
I stopped by and helped finish the electrical install and fired the car up with them. I forget the owners name but boy did the thing sound sweet.
I was then like, do me, do me!! and we almost pulled my motor to port for a half bridge.

Rx7WEEE had a half bridge also, but his was turbo.

Hah, "needed boost" is probably the dumbest thing I have ever heard. You need to whip his *** and tell him he "needed 4 extra liters of displacement"

then he has the argument that I displace all 1.3L per revolution when he only does 1/4 of his 5.0 per rev.

I had a 1/2 bridge on my FD.

If you got time, wait a few weeks, the black FD is getting a 1/2 bridge, we could meet up sometime after she's broken in.

Nah, that was mikes own car. His first gen. The green and orange colored thing he had.

I dunno might buy another first gen one of these days and go port crazy with a downdraft weber on it. That'd be real fun.

check out this page at pineapple racings website. It shows the various kinds of porting and what they look like.

http://www.pineappleracing.com/ProdSvcs1.html

As for a half bridge thats when only the secondary ports have a bridge cut into them, in a full bridge, both the primary and the secondary ports have birdges cut into them.

You're a n00b too! You're selling your car

Only way I could make back 1/4 of what I put into my car was to part it honestly... very tough decision to make. Interests changed, didn't want the same things anymore. However, I shall return with another rx7 some day...

As far as bridgeports, they are easy and neat. Mine was an aux port bridge with "stage 2" extend porting everywhere else, s5 n/a.

Hell, just go P-port. Either way, bridge or P-port, I dont think youll be gettinf close to the tens. You could get 300ish outta a P-port. Anyone know how much Judge Ito is getting outta his half bridge half p-port frankenstein?

Nitromethane is very strong solvant, and I doubt that oil seals, would last very long on nitro.

Im sorry, I was running out the door as I typed that, and meant to put N20, not Nitro. Nitro would only be for if he was running really high boost or really high compression. So, nitro is obviously not what I meant. Hes gotta be running a shitload of N20 to be putting a 2300 pound car into the nines. It was always my understanding that 300ish HP is about the max you can get out of an NA rotary. No?

NO n20 either. Its an all motor class!!! No power adders whatsoever! Theres been tons of articles in rxtuner about him. This class is totally about attention to detail.
