Deciding on new motor project.
It is not normal for me to actually make a thread, I am on here all the time but only really read and search for stuff. Anyway I have been searching and reading on bridgeports. Always wanted one, I have had 6 rotary's in my time, 3 N/A and 3 boosted, S1 7 with a tallport 13b, 75 RX3 with a stock 12a, RX2 copue with a 12a J Port ( motor lasted about 2 weeks as water seals gave out, but was really fast), FC T2 with bolt ons mods, FD with exhaust, 20b twins that was auto. And now have my current S4 which was my old one, it still has all the bolt ons and has been getting a rebuild over the last few years. Any way I have the motor out and im thinking I want an N/A injected bridgeport, what am I mad? Going from a turbo to N/A, but im not after a drag racer or all out need for speed, so here are my plans, mostly a result from searching over the last few days.
S5 4 port block, with all ports bridged-large
9.7 N/a rotors
FD fuel pump-all ready in car
550 cc injectors
All T2 drive line etc-all ready in car
T2 manifolds
Microtech Ecu
Plus will have to do custom exhaust
Now I know a T2 would be quicker, but i,ve always loved ported rotarys and love the S4 shape
just not sure about weather to use the T2 intake manifolds or spend the cash and go for an EFI IDA - about $1500 without injectors
I will be ditching the turbo, due to not wanting to spend the money for a big upgrade as I read that the stock one would choke it up to much.
Remeber Im not after heaps of hp, but the beautiful style of the S4 and the wicked pulse of a bridgeport.
What do you all reckon.

No stock manifolds should ever be used on a Bridgeport. Sure, they WILL work, but note, the stock manifolds are made for torque, low-rpm action, commuting, etc. They were not designed to be high-flowing, high-rpm operation peices.
IDA-style individual throttle bodies for the win.
