I know this post doesn't belong here but for all of you thinking of getting a tune, DO IT.

I just ran at the import summer jam here in Boise and won my class of Quick Import (14.5 to 11.5)

The car is more predictable, hauls the mail and if it weren't for my turbo (to4e)running out of steam (best time tonight was a 11.7 @ 118) would probably be running in the low 11's.

Pay the money and get it done! You won't regret it

I just need to get my plates and internals back from BDC, get all my apex seals and coolant seals from mazdaspeed and pineapple racing respectively, build the engine, install the standalone, install the engine, find a turbo, get it running, able to run to seattle, and get some miles under its belt for wear in. ... in about ... 1 months time.

Any bets for or against me?

BTW, I almost gave up last night .... when I added up all the stuff I still need to buy in order to get this swap done.

ohhh man, I am getting excited / nervous. I'm feeling the pressure now. Got my NA-T in a turbo car done today. Wow, never put a stock ECU in a car that had a standalone, it looked like someone released a pair of wire eating beavers inside the car. O.o

My plates will be here wednesday, so I will begin installing the e11v2 into my gtu tonight. yay.

If anybody has any tips or recommendations on installing it, let me know.

I didn't think to send it certified. I just sent it plain old first class. At least I did remember to include a note with my name and the date of the tuning the deposit was for.

 

If you really want to get fancy you can go certified with delivery confirmation.

For the last 3, please let me know when you send your payment in so that I can update your status.

That's a safe bet Tweak... Last time it took all day for 6 cars, and 2 of them didn't even get tuned because of bad motors

 

Right now we are at one day. If everyone sends in their deposits we will be at 2 days.
