No.

I think that 1.5x would be appropriate.

In other words, if everyone else owes 100 you would owe 150. I can't see dinging you for two slots because most likely it will not take twice the time to tune.

I am open to suggestions. Toomuch what do you think would be fair?

I would prefer to meet for the deposits, I run some pretty long hours. If you are further away (ie Portland) or cannot meet mail will work fine. Please PM for my address or a location to meet.

I'd say 1.5x is perfectly fair, as I most likely will be on there longer than anyone else... but i have another question:

UPS has tied to deliver my deposit check to steve twice, and according to the tracking number he hasn't been there to sign for it. This wont affect my spot at all will it?

Tweak: I don't, sorry. I am overly cautious, so I hate having large amounts of money going through the mail. You can go certified at the post office if you are concerned. They will not leave the check at my house if I am not there. I will be required to go pick it up at the post office. It cost me just over $3 to send the deposit check to Steve. Cheap insurance as far as I am concerned.

Toomuch: Steve is in the Cayman Islands right now tuning some cars. I think that He can pick the payment up at a UPS location. You might want to confirm this with UPS and let Steve know the payment is sitting at UPS. It will not affect your tune date on my end.

Hank: I will let you know. You and Johgar would really like a second day. If we do not have enough people though, that could be a problem. Stay tuned! I will take care of all the details.

Dave, I actually have a change of plan. I can't do Sunday. I will need to be the last one on Saturday again.

Thanks

Thanks Daniels. Keep me updated.

Spectators are also welcome. Except for Mazdatim, he is our Chef for this event.

i'm going to be there to record the event with my camcorder. I'll post it on you tube once it's done and share it with the forum members, at least anyone that is not able to be there can learn something from it. so please make sure try to ask as much question as possible to steve during the event. i know i will.

Chance: When things are all set to go on his end let me know. You will also need to meet the deadlines for dyno payment as well.

94: I need to make sure that Steve has his space as well. He does need to concentrate while tuning. I think that there will be a Del Taco meet prior to the dyno, I would ask that all questions be asked there.

Tim: We are expecting the finest cuisine!

I spoke with Steve: Hoofhearted and Fearnopiston are good to go. You will need to send you deposits to Steve.

If Deposit has not been recieved by Steve on or before the 11th the lower 4 people will be removed from the list. If you will have troubles with this PM me ASAP.

Dyno payment needs to be to me on the 11th. That means that everyone should think about sending them through the mail or PMing me to meet.

I just got back into town last night. I looked through the thread but wasn't able to see the amount of the dyno payment. I'm just old I guess. What was the final consensus on the dyno, time or flat rate? How much?

Hank: Most likely. Look below

Dave: We did decide on a per day price. I don't know if this is a wise move now. Read though my note below. I will update and give a final decision later this afternoon.

I just spoke with Kevin last night and locked in for 2 days. I asked him to be flexible but I am 99% sure that we will need 2 days.

Last dyno session ran a total of 13hrs. He made just over 600. Do the math, for him that was under 50/hr. He requested that we either run shorter days or increase his per day price. I can understand.

Right now it is looking like we will have 8-9 people that will participate. That means 4-5 cars per day. At 2hrs per tune, we are looking at 8-10hrs per day maximum.

I think that if I can get the per hour price down to 100 we would be better off since it would eliminate a lot of hassle. I think that a fair per day price would be 750. I will negotiate later this afternoon. Because of this I will push the date back for the dyno money. Expect 150-200 for the dyno.

You will need to be at the dyno 1hr in advance with exception to the first person who will need to be there 30 mins in advance.

Saturday:
10:00AM
12:00-12:30PM fine cuisine provided by Tim
12:30AM
2:30PM
4:30PM Johgar

Sunday:
10:00AM
12:00-12:30PM fine cuisine provided by Tim
12:30PM
2:30PM z-beater
4:30PM: Hstiko

I hope you guys like microwaveable burritos cuz that's all I can "cook" lol

If anyone feels kind enough to bring a bbq that would be awesome, because since Dave called me out I feel obligated to provide "fine cuisine" and I can't really fit a bbq in my Taurus...

Can I have this slot? I'm really close so it may be easier for me to make it in the morning than some others, plus I have family that are coming into town and they will want me to do something with them in the afternoon.
