Toomuch, I think that you are the only one! BIG BALLA!

Next milestone: payment to me for the dyno. I will pre-pay for the total amount so that no exchange will occur at the dyno and we can all focus on the important matters at hand!

SethWConfirmed/Paid
Tweak Confirmed/Paid
Z-beaterConfirmed/Paid
DHaysConfirmed/Paid
Toomuch4youConfirmed/Paid
Marcus219Confirmed/Paid
HsitkoConfirmed/Paid

Undecided:

Hsitko
Jackrd1
Cashmoney
Kevpel
Spandy
Astrochild
Quickspoolin
Erikseven

By when and how much do we need to pay you?

Did it actually get more expensive per person since we split it into two days? That's no biggy, more quality alone time.

July 7th: Payment sent to Z-beater for the dyno slot

I might need to change this date. Push it back a couple days.

Looks like we will have 8 people. 4 each day.

We can do this one of two ways.

1. Per hour: The dyno bills out at 125/hr. We can each individually pay for however much time we are on. Most tunes last from 45mins to 2hrs. So price would range from 105 to 275.

2. Fixed rate: ~ $165

I am flexible... opinions welcome.

given that there are going to be two full days of tuning (aka more time for each persons' tune) my vote is going towards fixed rate...

I agree with toomuch4you. If someone is having issues, we can pull him off the dyno and he can work on his car outside of the dyno while others get to actually use the dyno. Fixed rate sounds best to me.

I'm easy. Either way is fine. I'm going to be out of town until the night of the 6th. Can I send you the $$$ when I get back and give everyone a chance to figure it out? Do you want us to send you a check?

Peachy, I know that Hsitko (if I remember correctly) may or may not be able to get his stuff done in time. He paid to secure his spot, but if he doesn't get it done, he was going to sell it off to someone else. So I would just keep up to date with him, and let him know that you are willing to take his spot in case he is unable to make it.

Having more than 4 people a day just seems like it would be too much of a risk. I have yet to hear any stories of where a whole day at the dyno went on without a hitch. It is up to Kan and Z obviously, but I think we are sitting right on the sweet spot with 4 people a day.

Peachy: You will need to confirm with Steve about squeezing in. We have room on the dyno. If he says that it is ok, you will need to send your payment in today or tomorrow and then stick with the rest of the schedule. Let me know what you decide.

Tweak: With hiccups we can usually run 6-7 cars. It is very comfortable to run 5 cars. I treat Toomuchforyou as 2 cars. He will be on the dyno longer.

Also hsitko's spot will be taken regardless if he can make it. So that spot is not up for grabs.

Toomuchforyou: If we run a flat rate I might have to charge you more. Sorry. The rest of the group will have to come to an understanding on what a fair rate is.

Someone bring a bbq that would be awesome to just put it over on the side of the building and enjoy some burgers, dogs, steaks, whatever you guys want... Rather than imposing on Dave at his house...

Tim, no imposition. Not a bad idea at all though.

94, if you don't have your FD there is no reason to tune. Spectators are free.

I'll shoot Steve a PM and see what he says. He's tuned the car I'm in right now before so maybe that'll give me some leverage.

frick, mazda sent me all the stuff for my rebuild, minus side seals. They are on back order till the 30th O.o I guess I could just not run them, might have a little less compression though... (just kidding btw)

I am on a rogue mission taking apart every engine I can find to get some nice long side seals.

UPDATE: nevermind, got them through atkins! I forgot they existed. haha

I only received 3 deposits so far.

Tweak
Z-beater
DHays

Johgar and SethW should not be counted for the deposit since they are a retune from the previous deposit.

Dblboinger just PM'ed me, he will not be able to make it. You can take him off the undecided list.

(update) Also

WingsofWar PM'ed me and said "im going out on a business trip", so he will not be able to make it either.
