Looks like it's becoming more reality now.
We have a graphic artist working on our logo, have a person pounding the streets for sponsorhips, and I am organizing the timing. Looks like the middle of June. Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Autox and Drag Racing will be FREE to all comers!
The only thing you will have to pay for is a hotel room...we are working out those details too! Probably be in downtown Boise, so you can hit the nightlife while you are here!
If you want to run your car on Dyno Day, It will be pretty minimal. Probably around $25 for a couple of runs.

I might be willing to help out since last year I did the organization for the Rotor Rally. If you send me your e-mail address, then I can send you the sheet I used for last years rally that I used here in WA since it's not needed any longer here. I know on the list there was a few places in Idaho that might sponsor. Catch me on aim in the evening strawburbr1 if you want some help.

I have a really good friend in Boise that I havent seen for years, so this would give me an excuse to look him up again.

Just so you know, if it is friday-sunday in June, it is actually the 15th through the 17th. The site has it the 16th through the 18th.

Get your butts down-up-over here guys. This valley has alot to offer shopping and entertainment wise....which inlcludes some very beautiful and entertaining stretches of highway to cruise/blast on.

How far away is Boise from the WA border? Or, how far away is it from Spokane?

from the seattle area it's about 7.5 hours... but if you fly low, six.

I have family that live in & around Boise, and have made trips over for races(offroad mostly) and passing through a few times.

Wanted to update you on what is happening.
This will be a 2 day event.
Saturday and Sunday.
We still have quite a few details to iron out, but we are thinking the Car Show will be Saturday and the Autox will take place the same day at the same location if I can reserve the spot.
Saturday night, we will have a banquet probably at the hotel, complete with awards and raffles.
Sunday will be the drag racing day at our local track.
We are only a couple of weeks in to this, but we are making great headway!

If I still have my FB and it's running I'll be there. If it wouldn't make you all hate me I'd run my MR2 in the autocross
