Runs good, Have to sell, off to college and i have a 91 convertible
Mods
Holley 600 cfm Carburetor
Holley Fuel pump (new as of 2 weeks ago)
Accel Performance Coils
Racing beat Wires
Full 2 1/4 Straight pipe Exhaust with Magnaflow
Double ALternator Pulley
Car has no problems
It needs some body work on the fender and some other dings and dents
Replaced the motor in February 5k miles ago last motor went to 162k and blew an oil seal
I pulled an engine out of an 83 mazda rx-7 with 70k miles on odometer, car was wrecked.
All emissions have been removed, however the old wiring harness still exists, Rats nest, all vacuums removed.
I pulled the holley out of a 1960 ford pickup for like 25 bux, rebuilt it, and popped it onto a holley adapter plate welded to stock intake manfold. downjetted it and hooked it up, with oil lines going into the top.
Its fast, and doesnt smoke one bit, doesnt overhead, doesnt leak anything except a little bit of oil off the oil pan.
It has a heater, everything on the inside works except the cigarette lighter and rear defroster. the ignition is messed up, but i never bothered to buy another key ignition for it. I just turn the ignition switch without the key.... the Flip up roof doesnt leak. Its a real good car, cosmetically it doesnt look the best, however Its very mechanically sound, and is very reliable. I have had it as my daily driver for 2 years.
