Angry sunroof fc3s

anyone w repair ideas for the sunroof gets stuck have to help it

Clean the rails and re-lubricate. Instructions are in the FAQ.

Gut it and rivet a piece of carbon fiber over it?

Make sure to use window weld all around the edges and in the rivet holes or you'll have a leaky sunroof delete.

The bare materials for doin this is about $75-$115 depending on where you get the cf.

GA Sunroof fix

Its likely in the slide mechanism, or the cable, if you clean and lube, but it still sticks, it could be the motor or the dive slipping. Mazda still has the motor, but its like $500 bucks for a replacement. Before you do that, check the voltage going to the motor, if its to low, that may give the same symptoms. If thats good, then you may end up needing a motor after all.
