Slow Acceleration

Ok, just got my carb put back on and idle and air adjusted. Just for a little backround.

Now the problem is, when i step on the accelerator it gogs and then takes about a sec for it to get moving, and this moving is a slow acceleration. like if i tried to burn out, i wouldn't be able to. Kinda annoying to have a nice 1984 mazda RX7 and not be able to use the RWD. haha

Ok so any suggestions or symptom questions let me know! anything can help! THanks!

-Jake

@diabolical
Ok the carb is a nicki carb.
The timing is about a millimeter off, pretty dang close.
And thank you i am pretty proud to have a car that is considered special. I just hope i can get it running smoothly. -__-

ok a lot of hoses are missing from the carb air filter head. none are connected to that. all the other lines are correct on the actual carburater.

and i went out and started it today and about three minutes into warm up id tap the accelerator and it would die. not till about 8-10 minutes into warm up would it actual rev the engine. but there would still be that Gog.

hope this helps.

Thank you!

you're probably chasing a small vacuum leak, and because of it, your mixture is probably off, too.
