ID Fuel foul to Oil Pressure and strange rotor rotations?

1988 mazda rx-7 SE N/A

Ok so i've searched and didn't find anything to specific towards any of my problems.

Well first it was a fuel foouling and I did the normal thing check my spark plug wires to make sure I didn't get them mixed up so I let the whole car sit for a day without plugs.

Then the car got started and it ran ok for the day that I could make it home from work well by the time I got home I noticed I had no Oil pressure and one of my rotars felt like it was not spinning right and making any kind of combustion.

when I got back to my house went and put oil in thinking I ws out let it circulate check oil it was still full. now this morning it seems like my my car has fouled again and still had no oil pressure when it did kinda start.

I think my fuel problem is more towards my old *** fuel injectors that can't handle the extra performance? I put a new intake on and new exaust not sure any of that would kill them or anything?

if i can get some wisdom please offer thank you!~ Jeff

do a compression check first.

No..you don't use ATF to check the compression.
If you did it would just give you a false reading anyways as it build compression, and you want to know TRUE compression.

ok so I did a compression test and I was feeling some pretty strong bursts of air coming out. but I think I will have my dad come a check it out as well since since he's been a mechanic for far longer then I have.

thanks for showing me that link that will be a very helpful in the future.

also this engine only has about 4.3k miles since I bought it and it was a brand new engine that never got used till I bought it.

Original miles 149k miles on the body and a fresh rebuilt motor.

Ok I found out what happen to oil pressure and why im leaking like 2 quarts of oil a day so just needs a new gasket and a sensor.

Now as for the fuel foul it seems the new spark plug wires weren't connecting very well that and it seems my vaccum lines are a little dull so I will switch all that out and see if it fixes all that and make sure the wires are going to connect a lot better with new rubber pieces.
