seems flooded

seems flooded

hot or cold car or outside if it does start it goes to very high rev. alot of times it just is flooded when i first turn the key pls help.... ive had the car for 13 years and love it... when it starts

i think there is a thread on this probably somewhere in technical.

that happened to my NA S4 and this is what i did to keep it from happening again (hasnt happened in long time*knock on wood*)

take out the fuse (forget which one and dont have enough posts to look it up)
take out spark plug, crank engine
put spark plug back in.
put fuse back.
shrugs that usually works for me.

A little trick to do on second gens is to kick the throttle just before shutting it off. It should prevent it from flooding.
