S5 won’t idle
S5 1990 GXL
Car was running previously with a erratic idle around 400-900rpm.I changed all the vacuum lines because of this. Now the car won’t hold idle.
Fires up but does not idle.
I have tried deflooding it to no avail.
However, the car runs very crappy WITHOUT the AFM plugged in. Revs will stay at 2k WITHOUT afm.
but when I PLUG IN afm, it just fires up and dies immediately.
why does it do this?
Can bad check valves cause this? Or maybe backwards?
