Pic of my car to show off the new meat! Weld rts'
Hey just a ran a 12.4 @112 at the track.
Stock non seq twins stock port stock boost level at 10 psi.
Wanting to know if anyone has ran faster than a 12.4 because I just bought some bias ply radials and probably gonna roll off an 11 without even touching the boost level!
Before I go chanting it's the fastest stock fd I want to make sure that that's accurate.
Mods: catless downpipe, non seq mod, and tune
Thanks for any comments

Factory. Only upgrade is suspension. I do quite a bit of street racing and so I dont brake anything I like to have plenty of sidewall. It rolls rolls put pretty hard as it is. So I dont care if its overkill. I'm only saving myself headache by having tires that absorb a lot of the blow.

nice.... well your times are pretty great considering the set up. thats pretty fast for a stock car regardless of everything else. i can only imagine what your could do with 100 more hp.

I cant wait to see what this car can do. Still on the original unopened 27 year old engine. Hoping it continues to last. It's been very well taken care of.

I think you forgot some....

*You have an aftermarket intake. At least I know the stock airbox is not in place from earlier pictures you posted.
*You said you have a tune. So you have an aftermarket ECU.
*The ECU would allow the emissions to be removed and I'm not certain but it doesn't look like you have an air pump...and again we know you don't have a cat.
* A programmable ECU would also allow you to run higher than stock boost and again, you said you had "a tune". Boost creep may be taking place anyway.
*You have an aftermarket cat-back from earlier pictures you posted.
*You have removed the cat, presumably a midpipe/testpipe.
*You said yourself the car has suspension modifications.
*You have drag radials.

You're not stock.

I should have stated that I was referring to stock boost level on stock interns and stock twins. It is still stock motor, stock turbos, stock fuel system including injectors. Pfc ecu. No boost creep, I have a innovative digital boost gauge that is very accurate. Those with stock port and stock turbos going for records, it's usually implied that they have simple bolt ons. I'm still on factory intercooler. Factory air box is simply removed and replaced with cone filters, nothing special. I've never posted a picture or anything of my engine bay so I dont understand how you can say you saw that I removed my air pump. But yes i no longer have cats. If you have information to give out regarding my questions, please post them up!

Look, your car is not stock for the reasons stated PLUS non-sequential. And probably more. I don’t drag race, and certainly don’t street race but it wouldn’t come close to making a stock class in SCCA autocross either. You can tell yourself what’s implied (probably a pretty fluid concept with street racers) but it doesn’t change reality. Those times do sound quick. But while I didn’t read completely through those threads I provided, those times didn’t sound extraordinary either....for a mildly modded car. You didn’t say how your times were recorded either. So I’d hold off on the chanting for now.

Since this is new member tech, I’d also warn you that (without bracing and reinforcement) if you have stock engine mounts they WILL fail, you have or will bend the powerplant frame (PPF) and the differential and clutch won’t last long either. Hence the mention of the parts for sale section to buy...or part out, when the time comes.
