I did a rebuild not too long ago on my fc. It's an 87 na and euro spec if that helps (6 port with the distributor cap so no cas). After I rebuilt the engine it started right up but I can't get it to start anymore.

I had to turn the car of on the first start due to a fuel leak from the rats nest so the seals didn't have any time to break in. Now I'm stuck and cant get it to start anymore.

I tested almost everything already. Spark is good, compression is fine, its getting fuel, injectors are tested and cleaned as well. It does start up when I put some oil in the engine and spray brake cleaner but it never stays running. When I try to start it without brake cleaner it tries but it never fully starts up.

I am really out of ideas at this point, I hope anyone here has had a similar experience and can help me further

 

I had a similar issue on a TII recently. Turned out to be some rusty crud found its way to the top of the primary injectors. Granted the car in this instance had sat for quite some time, but might be a place to check.
