Finally found an FD 1994 Touring with 41k and I completed the purchase. I was not sure to put this in new member or technical since I was asking for reccs,.
Car is stock minus a FMIC, catback exhaust/midpipe, powerFC and a shifter. Wondering what shops would be good near/outside of MA to team up with on a build.
I would like to drive it stock for a bit but want to add mods eventually. Who does everyone recommend, I was leaning towards IR from my research.
Car compression tested 100, and drives fine, hot start etc. Should I have a tune done at all with the mods made?

Congrats on the car. If I lived in range of IRP I’d take my car there.
But with that said, with the exception of the shifter, those are fairly significant mods. You’re some distance from stock IMO.
I can’t see it in the pic, but a Front Mount Intercooler is first up. Personally not a big fan of them on a street driven car. Putting the Intercooler in front of the radiator isn’t cool for a number of reasons. Plus all the plumbing and loss of crash-worthiness and increased risk from road debris.
A midpipe with the stock twins isn’t generally a good idea either. The wastegate on the twins is small and exhaust flow can Be too much for it to handle. That can lead to boost creep and a lean condition that can cost you an engine. Either keep a little back pressure with a cat which will also make it smell better. Or pull the turbos to have the wastegate ported. But know that’s a lot of work.
The PFC is programmable and presumably/hopefully it has a tune. But I suppose that would be something to have IRP check.
Thanks SGTBlue. my mistake on the FMIC is an ebay intercooler, its an SMIC. Ill find an engine pic but I do need to bring it to get a tune. Looks identical to this one
