So I’ve recently bought a FC it won’t crank or turn over. I don’t know the condition of the starter could it be that or the fuel pump?
The previous owner stated the engine wasn’t getting fuel he also stated there is a blown fuse. This is my first every rotary engine please help me.
fuel pump has nothing to do with whether or not the starter runs to crank the engine. check for good battery. clean and tight terminal connections at the battery. good grounds is a must. there's a single wire spade connector going to the starter solenoid. it should have +12v with the key in the start position. u can take a screw driver and short between that terminal connection and where the pos batt cable attaches to the starter and it should make the starter run if it's good.
Do you hear a click when you turn the key to ignition? You should definitely take the starter to an auto parts store that will test it for free; AutoZone will do this for you. If you have a good starter and don't hear anything when turning the key (assuming your battery is good), I would say there is a wiring issue.

I will mention too that none of this has anything to do with it being a rotary. But a blown fuse would explain why your starter isn't engaging. check all your fuses with a volt meter set on continuity (Ω), and if you get no reading (0L), the fuse is blown and you will have to install a new one.

Sorry for posting in the wrong area, I have no idea how this works anyways thanks for the feedback. I’m just not good with wires by chance do you have a visual diagram

Im having that exact issue. I had moved my car literally 50 feet and when i went to turn the key the starter would just click. My initial thought was bad starter so i got a new one and replaced it and same deal. When i turn the key it clicks and when i release it clicks again. I even stole a battery from my buddies car and it made no difference. Any help would be beyond helpful.
are you sure your terminals and the connections at the starter are clean and tight enough? also look into your ground cable since it is attached to starter bolt.

Yeah i went through and made sure all connectors and grounds were seated properly and not corroded. And i still cant figure out whats going on.
well, if everything is fine at the connections and the battery is good, then the next thing i would look at is the relay. try bypassing the relay and see if it will crank the engine then.
