After realising that the layer spec loom i have uses slightly smaller terminals I am now soldering the terminals onto my old loom - on the air pump relay wire ( 2j ) and on the ( 1k ) fuel pump relay wire the prior owner has soldered in a resistor - anyone know why he would do this?

Also do you still need the air pump relay wire connected into the ecu if you don't run the air pump?
