Question Hood dampners for the FC

Has anyone tried to use hood dampners on an Fc before like the ones offered by Tein for the FD??? If so how did that work out for you or what did you have to do to make it work?

I'm waiting for an eBay set to arrive. Actually, on my way to the Post Office in 5 mins. I'll let you know how it goes.

Keep in mind, I've an aluminum hood.
Sokie Tech, shipped straight from Taiwan.
Stood in line at the PO waiting to pick them up longer than it took to install the pair.
2 bolts each side, done.
Work like a charm, look great. Now I just need a shorter set for the trunk.
They take over about half way up and lift/hold the hood up fine so far.
We'll see how they hold up in the long run.
Oh, the hood no longer opens far enough for the stock hood stay to reach its slot.
