Exclamation Holley 600 carb choke options

Hello fellow rotary owners, and technicians... need advice on a Holley 600 carburetor, i have cold start up issues... i currently have a 4 bridge and ported 12A rotary mounted on a Mazda B2200, cold starting i have to manually idle for 2 or 3 minutes until engine will final idle on it's own without accelerating... so i am tired of this situation and want to add a choke ... so i need to know whether manual or electric choke system will relieve the problem and what is the best option and full kits... i will appreciate help on this matter...

welcome to the board.

a choke should relieve the problem. i don't know anything about electric chokes on Holleys, but i have used a manual choke on one. to be honest, it didn't work perfectly and we never really put much time into figuring out why. this was on an '83 Rx-7, so it already had a choke/throttle button. with your B2200, i imagine it does not have a choke button, so maybe an electric one might be a better fit.

also, you have a bridge port possibly complicating cold idle issues, so there's that. where do you have it idling when it's warm?
