Headache...
Headache...
ok, so i tried to start my car last weekend after a nice cruisin day an i heard the starter just spinnin, wouldnt grab the flywheel to kick her on. so i jack her up an place her on stands an check it out. while i'm getin ready to pull it off theres a wire that had about 2 or 3 inches of bare wire! i taped it up w/electrical tape an she was back to normal! for the night....
i get up an go to start her an nothing. so i check the battery. yup its dead. i got buy a replacement battery, gave em my car details an they gave me this dinky lil battery. i install it an it worked for few hours. i get back home an lift the hood. an my battery had slide back into my pullys an grinded the cables up a lil an exposed them. so i get some electrical tape an repair the abbraishions, take the battery back an make them give me the right size. So, i might as well as completely replace the starter. And i did. hook everything up. now i hear the spinning of the starter an the teeth grabbing but nothing turning over or attempting to turn.
next im about to replace the cables an terminal posts to change them from top to side zinc mounts, which will imrove connectivity an decrease cable wear from the angle they are stockly installed with.
Ne ideas or help with the issue, lemme kno

LOL. So what exactly does your title "Headache" help anyone figure out the point of your thread.
Be descriptive in your titles or you won't get anyone knowledgeable to look at your thread.
Sounds like you have a wiring and/or alternator issue. The alternator charges the battery while the car is running. If it is not working properly, you will drain your battery. Same thing if you have wiring problems.

I'd say wiring issue since you had that "3 inches of bare wire"....what wire was bare? hopefully you realize that electrical tape is not a good fix for anything...
New battery, new starter, ...all that is left is to check your wires. Alternator check if you get it running and the battery dies again.

^And tie your battery down properly.
It's doesn't have to be perfect, but some attention to spelling and punctuation is always nice too.

got a new battery that fits how it supposed to. the wire that was bare was the lead to the starter on top with the clip. as for spelling sorry, i have way to much on my mind to pay attention to spelling an grammar

there are 2 starters for an RX7..auto/TII and N/A.
If you put the TII on the N/A it will not work.
You are lucky that the Loose battery did not cause you any Irreparable Damage.
That store was Very KIND to you to replace the Battery.(even though it was actually your mistake for not tightening it down.!!).
It confuses me why a bare wire would not allow your car to start, but after you tape it,the car starts.
That wire Btw is the Ignition to Solenoid wire.
