So ive searched and nothing found. so today me and my wife went to eat out for dinner and my car has been running fine all day but we come out after eating get in the car and it turns over but wont start. checked fluids and all good there battery is good but still wont start. i noticed that my security light was on for the first time so im thinking it has something to do that with but i dont know. does anyone have idead on what it is or how to reset the security system or anything? i have to drive my wife home tomorrow and now i have no car. plz text me 229-412-8058 cuz im gonna be up at the restaurant tomorrow trying to fix it.

 

disconnect battery... sit...reconnect.....start? If no go...check to see if its flooded by now.. then start deflooding procedures. No go? then check to make sure your getting fuel and spark

 

ok so i went and looked at the car this morning and the plugs where SHOT they looked horrible so i had an extra set put em in and it cranked right up but then when i left it was a bit sluggish. i got home went inside to grab some stuff and left again but then the car starting dieing when it was idling so i kept starting it up and finally it settled.....then i get to a red light its idling fine then i start going and it bogs down and dies. finally get it started again and start driving then all of a sudden it lost all power still sitting at 2.5k rpms but i had no power what so ever i pull into a parking lot and it dies AGAIN. so i check the fluids all are good but filler neck has the foam which it normal but it was really thick this time and quite a bit but nothin on dipstick so i leave the cap off and zip tied a paper towel on it for a cap and now it runs just fine. anyone got any ideas on what is going on with my car as it is my only legal car i have since my rb20 s13 tags are suspended so ya any help would be grateful.

 

ok so i pulled the injectors to see if they were fucked up but they look fine only question is which goes where as they have A and B on the secondaries and the primarys has an F and is red. but my buddy and i put it back together and started it up but now its idling really rough and then dies out so anyone got some ideas what is going on it all stated with plugs going bad to running but having problems and the security light is on still and i was thinkin that could be it also ******* with the computer and killing it.

 

Check for the vacuum on your boost sensor. Sometime it get off under boost. It can also be an electrical problem since your security light still on. If i remember well, the security system act like a fuel cut and starter cut so maybe it that the problem.

boost sensor is still good so now how do you disable or reset the security system? because car starts idles fine for about 10 15 seconds then dies like something is cutting it off.

 

ok now car is back to not starting all it does now is turn over and has a low pop like its trying to backfire or something. ideas anyone?

Do any of your dash lights just lowly light up? Have you checked/tested the alternator? Have you done a quickie compression test?
