differences in model year 93/94/95

Buying a FD soon and want to know exactly what the differences are between the different model years. Assuming same trim, i.e. 93 / 94 / 95 touring

I have heard owners telling me the 93 paint is sub-par compared to the later two years, and that the interior panels' quality was enhanced for 94 and 95.

Would like to know if there are any other differences which may affect my purchase.

Any contribution would be appreciated

The better question is what is your intent? If you're going to mod it, there is no real reason to worry about those kinds of things. The only differences that aren't easily retrofitted or otherwise easy to do are the passenger air bag on 94/95 and the trim as you mentioned. It's more of a crinkle finish as opposed to the kind of rubbery smooth finish of the 93, however, you can source replacement panels and again, if you're going to mod the interior to include doing something with the panels, it's a moot point.

Paint is paint. It's nearly a 20 year old car so that too is a moot point. It's going to be really hard to find an example in pristine condition. The reds you may see fading on the mirrors and wing if equipped. Perhaps the blacks too. YMMV.
