Fd- using 4 coils for ignition, can I just splice the Leading coil signal wire?
Hi all!
I'm Cozzy, newbie here, I've just picked up a single turbo FD that's a bit of a basket case but was the right price! Hopefully the internet hive mind can help me bring her back to life.
I'm changing coils as my leading pack is toast- I have an interesting part from a breaker- 4 trailing coils on a mount. To make this work, can I just split the plug from the ignitor into 2 so the (now) 2 leading coils are wired in parallel?
Hopefully this makes sense, professional schematics below:

Here are the coils I got, obviously I am missing 1 signal plug on my current loom (in the kitchen for a scrub):
Thanks, all!
