My 87 FC 13B after it starts and runs a few minutes, I hear a faint Beep coming somewhere from the dash... no lights, or warnings ...I have oil pressure and temp gauge is normal.... the center warning lights/ clock on dash only works when it feels like it...is the beep telling me there is a problem?

Not familiar with the FC but the FD has a low coolant level sensor with a buzzer associated with it. Occasionally the sensor loses continuity or goes bad and the buzzer goes off even though the coolant level is 'ok'. On the FD this sensor is on the front of the t-stat housing.
