Cruise control will not engage. Have tested the actuator, clutch and brake pedal switches. All are functioning. Have gone through Dale Clark's test sequences to test cruise control system. I get a code of one flash-indicating defective wiring, defective ground or defective brake switch. When I then do the switch tests, all give me the the correct Cruise light flashes except the very last which says to start the car, drive above 25 mph. No flashes occur. Could this possibly be the VSS on the manual tranny, even though the speedo is working, or perhaps the Cruise control ECU? Many thanks
