Boost lag
I just got the car 2 days ago so far I figured out its a Garrett a/r 42 turbo with 3 inch full exhaust turbo back a t type boost controller and a turbo word blow off valve stock injectors stick ecu
until misterstyx69 returns or Aaron (or someone with more experience) joins in, i'm thinking you probably have a hybrid.
as for your actual issue, if no other change has been made to the ECU (or any attempt to trick it) then perhaps there is where you should start looking.

Honestly,I buy parts, install them then Get someone to tune the car.
Many a Time the car has just sat in the driveway with new parts on it,waiting for "my Tuner guy" to make his way down too this area.
I'm not the one to test the theory of "this will get you more power" without assurances that the Parts that I put on will safely run the engine.
I have had the same Turbo engine 6 years now for doing that.
It comes down to the setup of supporting mods.If the Turbo and fuel and Ecu are all in "sync" then it will give you a good running setup.
I am leaning towards your fuel and the fact that you got a Stock Ecu and 550 secondaries with an aftermarket Turbo on there.
A good electronic Boost controller would help you in the long run too.
Until you get more Info,I would suggest not to test the Limits of the car,Just to be on the safe side.If you just got it,you may want to have it longer to enjoy it..Right?
I know it is fun to Punch it but then IF the car isn't set up properly you will Be Punching something else..Your Fist on the hood of the car..Turbo engines need a good tune and setup and that will come back to kick you in the keester if not done right.
Sorry I can't give you any more than that,But there are others here that can..
Cheers.

to do it right? at the very least, yes. while i'm sure the factory tune gives you some leeway, at the end of the day it was setup to operate with the parts that the car was equipped with from the factory. whether or not that turbo is indeed a hybrid or if it's a completely different aftermarket unit, it's still going to flow air different to the stock Hitachi. appropriate changes have to be made.
