Another Flooded RX7?

So I've been searching for solutions all over for the past weekend, watching videos, reading loads of forum posts but I can't seem to get my 92 FD running.

I'm hoping I've missed something obvious so any help getting it running and I'll gladly get roasted in the comments.

Specs: 92 JDM FD - single turbo, rebuilt 2k miles ago
It ran fine a week ago, but even though I've had an RX8 for nearly a year now, I must have turned my 7 off too early so was hoping it's only flooded.

Therefore, I have:
> Cranked while clutch/throttle is depressed to cut fuel.
> Cranked while EGI fuse is out as well.
> Cranked while fuel pump is disconnected.
> Cranked while sparks are out - fuel did come out and that was cleaned- left overnight to let excess fuel evaporate a bit more.
> Spark plugs (4xBUR9EQP) cleaned - although slightly not perfectly new, they are still sharp and no bad connection with leads.
> I've tried starting while fuel vapour is in exhaust and while there's no vapour in the exhaust.

Now, while I was super close to firing up before, now it won't even fire and just cranks over.

I've seen posts about squirting WD-40 in the UIM (which nipple, I'm not sure) and info about injector cleaning that seems to work for a few and have no effect for most. I may try tow starting it soon but currently, I'm at a loss. The car used to start easily with no problems (hot or cold) and with a recent rebuild I don't think compression is a problem.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

If you’re confident in compression it could be weak spark. I think the FSM has some troubleshooting and a procedure to bench test coils.
At least a visual check of the CAS and trigger wheel might be worthwhile.
If it was really flooded, sometimes just bump starting is the only thing that works. I’d consider changing oil though, you’ll likely have fuel dilution if it was bad.

Thanks for the suggestions, I managed to get it running by towing eventually but had to clear out A LOT of fuel. I think my spark plugs were soaked again as soon as I put them back in and tried starting.

The motor was running fine with good hot start and no issues with cold start either and after researching the CAS a little more, my idle wasn't lumpy or off (and isn't now) so I didnt think it was that.

To get it going however I did have to start in 1st and go around 20 to get the revs high enough (3500+ as below that it didn't even want to fire a little) to clear all the fuel out (with tones of smoke ofc).

But not it runs and drives fine, with no issues - but a tow rope will always be in my boot from now on.
