Automatic Transmission Fitment

I want to do a swap using a Renesis engine and a JATCO 3N71B, 3-speed automatic transmission from a Nissan. The reason I am using the Nissan, instead of Mazda is the tail shaft is shorter. This is going into a Samurai. I bought a JDM engine with 6-speed AT, but the trans is a foot or so too long to go to the transfer box.

My question is what year bellhousing will fit and mate the 3-speed trans and the 13b MSP?
Thanks!

welcome to the board.

here is a thread that you may or may not find helpful: https://www.rx7club.com/rotary-car-p...racing-505775/

if the bell housing-to-tranny bolt pattern is the same on all of these JATCO units (and i have no information to say that it is), then all you would need is the bell housing from any automatic rotary. they are all the same from the 10A to the MSP. that said, i would think the more recent ones would make the most sense - REW and up.
