got some problems

ok so i have an 86 rx7 that i got a couple weeks ago, i've been having trouble getting it to run and i was wondering if anyone could give any suggestions since i'm kind of running out of ideas before i bring it to a mechanic. so i checked the air filter, it had a mouse nest in it, replaced and cleaned it, then i checked the spark plugs and they were fouled so i put new ones in and then checked the spark plug wires and found out the one of the igniton coils was corroded and the plug wire was eaten away, so i replaced the coil and the wires..... the thing is, is that i could get it running sometimes and it will turn over fine but only sometimes it will try to start up and it would start up sometimes too, it wouldn't idle and would stall out and if i stepped on the gas hard it would bog out and eventually stall if i did it for long enough, if i let off on it and pressed it down slowly it would run up through the rpm's until it redlined.... so i could also roll start it and it would run every time i did that, it would buck a lot when it was moving though.... i know there's fuel getting to the engine because i can smell it out the tail pipes and the fuel pump works good and all, i'm going to do a spark test on it right now, but i'm almost sure it's not that...sooooooo i've kind of pushed out the whole compression issue because compression wouldn't stop it from trying to start atleast.... i'm going to give it a spark test.... i'll give more updates soon, thanks for any suggestions or thoughts!

Compression will cause it not to start. You need to :
1, Change the fuel filter and the fuel pump pickup sock
2. Drain the old fuel and flush some new clean fuel thru the system
3. Pull the plugs and put a tsp of ATF/MMO in each rotor (ie, do a flooded start procedure)
