90 auto 'vert
i picked up a 90 automatic vert in VA saturday for $350, sat for 2 years at a shop
it has a oil leak, im assuming oil lines or sending unit
first problem, on an automatic, when it shifts into 2nd, is it suppose to delay? and when it shifts, is it suppose to feel like someone riding the clutch shifting til its in?
next, i just drained all the old gas and put fresh in it, its running better, but it still has a "miss" sound to it, and it will idle at 1200-1900
any help?

If it's intermittent, I'd check the wiring to the MOP. It should not go in and out of limp mode. Testing the MOP per the factory service manual (FSM) would still be a good idea. You can find links in the 2nd gen FAQ.
I can't help you with the auto transmission issues, but the FSM will point you in the right direction. I've never had anything other than a manual.
