IA '88 turbo exhaust and intake

If I put a cold air intake and more free flowing exhaust on my 88 10ae what can I do to prevent lean conditions? Also the fuel cut off will activate under higher boost because of the lower back pressure...So I need to know the PROPER way to address these conditions...Thanks

The wastegate must be ported, or you'll keep building excessive pressure. Fuel cut will prevent you from exceeding the limits of the stock fuel pump & injectors, but it is not something you want to have happen often.
