Hey guys
names Wal and hail from Brisbane Australia.
Owned a series 8 FD for about 3 years now but I'm still quite a newbie to rotaries.
running
13b rebuilt 3000km ago
standard twins,
power FC ,
3 inch exhaust,
trust twin intake,
greedy inter-cooler and piping kit
autoexe strut bracing F/R
HSD coilovers
making about 270hp and wheels.
Haven't done much to the car lately only done 4500 in 3 yrs ( only comes out on Sundays)
I have been thinking of upgrading fuel system to run E85 and would appreciate any help with what needs to be changed and whether its worth doing
thanks , Its good to be a member of a site with people who know what they are talking about and not a bunch of idiots like alot of sites
cheers

Well, you're in the newbie section. Not too many people in this section have much experience with an e85 setup. It takes a fair amount of work and expense and tuning to get setup. Acquaint yourself with the forum's Search functionality and do some research.
Hey mate,
I'm from Brisbane too! Just signed up today, but I've been involved with rotors for ages- have had 2 fd's and 3 fc's both race at street cars. Is there a particular reason why you want to run E85?
Its true that it does come with some benefits, but there are also negatives as well. One thing that causes a lot of problems is that the oil doesn't mix well with E85 so a common problem is that you injectors will fail and we all know what results from that... this happened to one of the competitors at the WTAC 2 weeks ago.
By the look of the mod list of your car there are plenty more upgrades you could do for power and performance that are more efficient- I wouldn't do if I was you- make sure you get a boost controller if you don't have one and a better breather tank if its still standard!
