If pin 1G is below 1.5 volts in neutral then that pin is okay. There was a poster on the main board this morning who said he had no spark and that his CAS ohmed out properly at the ECU. He ended up cleaning the CAS plug (the one at the CAS pigtail) and this fixed things. Since your injectors click it would make sense that this would not be of help but since your coils still won't fire properly you just might want to give it a go and clean the pigtail connector to see if it makes a difference.

Not familiar with what you are talking about. A pic would help.

I'm am sure. There are a number of threads on the main board where the car has been run w/o the trailing working or connected. A 79 has a very different type of ignition system to it.

I'm sure you could find coils in the used parts section for cheap and get an answer to your problem in a rather quick manner.

Off subject and I'm getting a coil with igniter Monday or sooner. But theres a 86 t2 for sale over here that needs ecu ans radiator that has 30k on rebuild .... Now the ecu is probably diff then mone correct.... Mines non turbo, reason i ask is when I look up ecu at wor theres no option for. Turbo or non turbo

The ECU for the turbo is different than a non turbo so they are not really compatible.

Ight thanks satch I got spark from the coil on that poor over heated rx lol 234k but u think I got loose tach wire ? My trailing ohm good but igniter could be bad like my leading ..... When should trailing fire and I don't have tach Sig just spark on leading and it would run but fuel tank needs to be cleaned some how

If the leading coil works then a jumper wire from the Black diagnostic wire to the trailing coil Black diagnostic wire should make the tach work. Since the tach works off the trailing coil this coil would have to work for the tach to normally work.
