The first gen and second gen had the option for "2+2". They are relatively rare and unless you have a newborn, they wont fit in the back.

If someone wanted to they could put a set of rear seats in a US spec FD, but they're next to useless unless the person sitting in them is under 5 feet and behind another short person.

Just means you cant pick up fatties and drive them around right? I am lucky I am short and the girl is too. Maybe i can ride more than two people around. Plus it is different to have rear seat in the car. People hear that i have a four seater FD and the dont believe me.

There was someone on here that put them in just so they would be able to put larger items that don't fit in the bins and didn't plan on hauling anyone around back there. To me that's just a waste of money. You can always take the bins out and just fab up something to make the space look clean and not spend that kind of money on the seats.
