12a 1985 Rx-7 won't start

I've recently had the stock carburator rebuilt, it rand fine, though cranking was taking longer than usual, but it was starting. Now it wont start, it does crank fine but seems like no fuel goes into the carb. I had it sit for a week or two. could it be the carb again? is there a quick fix to it? before having it sent to the shop

Take all four plugs out. If they look wet, clean/dry them with carb cleaner, put them back and try starting it again.

welcome to the board.

so you had the Nikki rebuilt and it was harder to start, but consistently started and ran fine? what was the reason for the rebuild? also, how much time passed between the rebuild and this recent "non-start" condition?

1. verify that the fuel pump is working
2. if your fuel filter is questionable, then change it
3. check that the floats are set where they are supposed to be

also, how old (or in what condition) are the cap, rotor and plugs?
