my 85 12a won't start, I checked the spark plug wires with the sparck plug on one of the strut tower bult one by one and they all lighted up. then dump some oil down the carb and won't start. so guys tell me what else can it be

 

Is fuel getting from the tank to the carburetor?

 

If you have good spark, and you have gas, then it is probably just flooded. Pick up some Seafoam and dump an ounce or two down the carb, then try starting it. That will usually do the trick....

is your timing set properly?

 

yes there is gas going to the carb. and yes the timing is good one thing forgot to mention was that I had bad carb in it and bought another one and it started like a brand new car but then I try to started again and since then and nothing. but Kentetsu I'm going to try that! and if any body knows any thing else please let me know, thank's

 

iv done the seafoam thing before it worked
