No more money pits for me. I am getting a new boat. I am undecided yet on the SeaRay or a Wellcraft. I want a fishing boat and I want a cruiser. I just need to make up my mind on one or the other. I went for a spin in my RX7 today though and laid the smack down bad on a 68 style camaro. That was fun.

I like wellcraft alot for what it's worth. My cousin has an inboard/outboard with a small chevy 4 banger. On a mini overhaul, after not using it for 4 years, all the parts were very easy to sourse and decently cheap. 8 passenger boat great for fishing and cruising even in the bay when it's not too rough.

If I had a 37ft Sea Ray Sundancer I'd be in the Caribbean right now with no plans of coming back. Instead I have a '91 21' bayliner with a blown engine junking up my yard.
Speaking of spare parts. If anybody has an old stock intercooler for free/cheap I need one to experiment with.
Dave you know that even if you buy a brand new boat you'll start upgrading it. A nice stainless steel Destoyer type steering wheel would look hot.. Of course it will need a free flow intake, better props, etc. etc.

Yeah I realize that but with my situation it really is the best idea to save as much money as I can... Being in college, paying for it myself, trying to have a girl friend, and owning an RX7 is an expencive life style for only working full time during the summer lol

Hey guys. I was actually just doing a search for compression testing when I stumbled on this thread. I just got an 88 rx7 tii this past thursday and I'm loving the hell out of it. I'm really trying to learn as much about it as I can and have pretty much saturated my brain over the last few days.
Anyway, I'm located down here in Lexington Park and would love to talk rotary with some of you guys. Do ya'll still meet up at all? I have tons of questions and just need someone to point me in the right direction.
Oh yeah, name's Nate.

Hey, being down in this area. Where do you guys go for rebuilds. I'm going to do a compression test today to figure out where the engine is sitting. Depending how that turns out will really determine what I do with it next. So where do ya'll go?

I think we should get together more often. Hooters is ok, but we ought to try some other places too.

What ever happened to fudds meets?
There's another thread "Maryland Guys" for MD that has more 2nd gen people. tofuball had a good number of replacement parts. Seems like they were doing a tear down/month.
