Very good reason he's booked so long.....Ray is that good, plain and simple. You can go to KDBlowmymotorup, if you'd like, but I wouldn't. Just my .02

Thanks for all the advice though

Josh, you can leave your car with me and borrow my extra van. I'll get it up there for you. You can come pick it up during your fall break.
I'll take good care of her for you.

Hey guys, I am taking my ride to PFSupercars on August 30th to have Ray tune it. Maybe I can meet up with some of you guys when I go pick the car up. I wouldn't mind seeing some of your cars. I kinda wish I was from Maryland, there doesn't seem to be too many FD guys around here.

You can invite me to your town if you live anywhere near the Outer Banks.

So you mean you actually got Ray to return your phone call?
Whats the secret?

gt40r, I just read your sig. That will be a fun *** car to drive after the tune. Make sure Ray gives you the test ride on the back road by the shop. Make sure you ask him to take you and top it out so you see how scared your passengers will feel.

I actually have auto gearing in my car too. Car should top out pretty high. It took all of about 2 weeks worth of calling and I just happened to get him to answer the phone and I didn't let him off until he wrote me down for August 30th. I do hope that 40R is enough turbo to suit me. I originally wanted to go the 42R route, but I just kinda settled for the 40R. I'm hoping for at least 500rwhp seeing as how Ray got 643rwhp out of Ernie's 42R. We'll have to see. Thanks for the props.

Dee

PS. Is that your blue car in your avatar? If so, it's sweet and I would love to see some bigger pics of it. Oh yeah, I live in Wilson, NC which is about 1 1/2- 2 hours from the beach.

I keep seeing RX-7's everywhere now. Mostly 2nd gens though. Saw two in Waldorf today. One white and one red S4. Both were N/A but the white one had exhaust done to it. Black guy was driving it.

When the hell are we gonna do another Hooter's meet fellas? Ain't had one in a while. Oh yeah, Dave, what are you doing Sunday? You get your CJ-7 all through inspection yet?

Building a deck off the back of my house all weekend long Justin. I'll be around.
I just got the last parts I needed to finish the jeep off and go back through inspection. I had to replace the front brake lines and the wheel bearings. I need a windscreen too. Mine has a chip and they wonuld't give me a pass on that one.

Dee, yea that is my car. There are photos of it all over both here and at nopistons.com
Just search "pics" under my user name and you should find plenty. I have a website still I think. If the link is still in my sig you can follow that to the rx7 tab and find some also.

HOOTERS this Sunday anyone?

you should take it to d&s glass on 925 dave. I think they can fill it for about 75 or 100 bucks. better than replacing the whole windshield.

I was hoping you had it through inspection so we could go bogging next weekend.

I am down for hooters tomorrow as long as marie is ok with it. she will probably want to go.

Tell her to show us her hooters.

I'll go out, but I don't have any lockers or a winch either so unless you have a winch then chances are we would get stuck if we got into some deep mud.

What diffs are in your X model and which transfer case did they give you?

the diffs are dana 35s. I think the ratio is 3:55 or something. transfer case is an np205. its used in everything but the rubicons. I guarantee you will not get stuck. there is stuff there I will not attempt to go through. we can just get some tow straps from tractor supply.

we should do it next weekend...its a lot of fun as ya know. marie will go also she loves mudding.
