Pulled the bumper, headlight assemblies, and the front end is completely screwed. And I really hope they did not try to start up the car. And broke the damned map sensor. D'oh!
What are you talking about?

Did you even look at the comparos? Both T67's were consitantly making more power than the T78's. Even the RX7.com tuned t78 at 17psi made less power than my beat motor running 16psi. Jon has a stock motor. I have a ported motor.
In other words Jons car will be fast but it will not be faster than mine at the same boost. It's not a competiton though

D'oh! I forgot about the ported and non-ported motors. My bad yo, my bad. It will still be badass!

Jon- You going to do a FMIC or VMIC later on? I get one of the first rides also.

True, the porting element is the main thing, with stock ports I'd always need more boost to duplicate Dave's dyno numbers.

With that said if we lined up once everyone is all nice and tuned the difference in our cars is gonna be so small that I'd venture to guess it would be a toss up each run.

In any event, Its not a competition, both cars are and will be fast

Justin, what time do you get off work there? You can swing by whenever to check it out since you're so close I'm usually home late afternoon..

Porting is not the only element. The cars in the comparo were all ported engines and my set up still made more power. Also remember that my hotside is currently smaller than a T78 and I am even going down one more size to the .73. With that being said My car is faster down low and makes more power on the top end too. So i get the best of both worlds. But with all due respect it's no coinsidence. I have getting this car set up with this turbo for almost two years.

Who is rich? You just have to plan it out and set your pennies aside.

You're right about the sizing as well and you have spent a lot of time swapping and researching so I should hope your end result gets you the best of both worlds. I'm still a year and a half or so behind you in the single turbo world so I fully admit I don't have it all figured out nor know what to expect.

Update on my stuff:

Tomorrow morning my car is going into Extreme Motorsports up here to get the downpipe / exhaust issue corrected or remade or something.

And I can imagine having a business does help, it certainly helped me get my turbo thanks in part to Uncle Sam as well

Kinda sure. Go out and make the left onto 3 north, then make a left at the second light ( johns hopkins ) and go to riedel road and its in there.

I dunno if my car will be home tomorrow, all depends on how soon this stuff gets done but I would imagine wed-friday would work.

I got your DC info I'll hit you up.

BTW Justin, if you want that car from my old man you better get on it like ASAP. My mom was telling me she called one of those "we tow junk cars" and left a message with them. I would bet you have about two or three days and that RX7 will be gone. I told them you were interested about two weeks ago and they have not heard from you so If you are serious you better get on the ball or your going to miss out again. Good luck.

Damn! I better talk to him tomorrow. Think he will take half now half later? I got other bills!!

Do you still have that rotor btw? I completely forgot about that being over there. Been busy with this damn S5. It's being a huge pain in the ***. I just need to yank out the hacksaw and start cutting!

Hit me up Jon, we can have a beer after work.

I have no idea what they will do for you Justin. You need to talk to him and not me.
The rotor is right where you left it.

Reading posts from you at 4:17 am knowing you're just getting up makes me tired :\

Anyway, dropped the car off at Extreme this morning and Glazar said the job was easy and should have it done by close of business today
