its also amazing how opinions change once you guys are behind a keyboard
...my opinion hasn't changed at all. You're a greedy scumbag and I hope you blow your motor just like you blow everything else.

Wow, I am SO glad I didn't go. I would have been one of the lucky ones to get thrown out if I had.

This vosko guy sounds like a tool.

wow i had no idea any of this was going on until i was on my way home and my friend called me and told me. i left early cuz it was kinda beat after the caravan. i thought it might have been better than last year but there were only a few more cars and i was asked if i wanted to be in the car show last year. it's stuff like this that kills events for the community.

Funny ****.....can't blame Vosko for trying to make a buck or two for his time and effort. I'm with the other guys...Jason, if you want to take a stab at it....do it up.

This event in my mind is supposed to be the biggest Rotary event in the Tri-State area but seems to be the least coordinated with no communications or dialog. Who won...why did they win....is there a second place? Those trophies...LOL...I'd be ashamed to display it. The bleachers…..think a termite bit me. The grounds….great for ******* up the front skirts.

It is what we make it .... better planning and some sponsors would definitely make it better. RF 2008....with no Vosko invloved. Jason... I will donate time if you take the reins.

I am really pissed off because I was told $5 per person and instead all of a sudden it was 30. WTF.

Who was at the gate? What is his name? I want my damn money back, I also handed out $20 to a friend in a Rx8 so he could get in. That guy at the gate owes me $45.

I wan't his info. It wasn't even a show. Kinda sucked. I did like talking to other people and see how much work they actually put in their ride, some good people out there.

I did see a first gen that looked real good, except for the SE-R symbol on the back!

This was the the first and last time I will ever go to Rotorfest. I though there was going to be a large amount of cars and an actual show. I drove 6 hours down and 7.5 hours back. Not worth it.

Yeh, it was a real bitch. I drove all the way from Florida for that. Dude that wasnt cool. I now exactly what you and your car look like, I segest you get rid of it because your on everyones hot list. Dont think of even trying to purchase from Pettit because im making sure your hot listed. As for rotor fest 2008, please come and bring your car, I garantee you wont have any parts left when you tow the body home on a flatbed. Im the guy from who talked to you and you bold faced lied to. Also everyone probly saw the guy in the wheel chair. You now that track wasnt excesable to handicaped. I myself spent 2 years in a chair and you have no idea what kind of stresses you go through having to have someone push you around because you cant push yourself. Im going through the motions with the state against the track for none accessiblity for the handicapped. They will go after the track and you for holding that event there and them allowing it. This is a friends computer and S/N, my name is Moon so dont respond to this screen name. Did you even think what would happen dumbass

For the amount of money that it sounds like was payed by everyone, you can rent out a MUCH nicer track for the day. I know at MIR it is right around $3000 to rent both lanes for the day i think. So next year, why doesnt someone else organize a meet at Englishtown or Atco maybe? That track and that field at Island are both pieces of ****, so it sounds like for rotorfest to happen next year someone else should organize it at a different location? Hell, it doesnt even need to be at a track.

I was definently suprised when we pulled up to the gate and they told us the price to get in. But as some others said, its not so much the money as the principle behind it. Was not handled very well at all.

i charged everyone the same way(just like you got charged), there was a few times when i was not at the booth(mainly to get yelled at). the way i charged people was(should have been the same for anyone)
$10 per person
$10 per rotary car
thats it.
if you happened to get overcharged it was not by me and not intentional!
Bulshit. It was an automatic $30. Not every car has TWO people in it. You told me $20 per car and $10 for passengers. You also told me that the track owner wanted this amount of money! So if he did, we pick and chose who gets a "discount"?

Its amazing how your words change once your behind the KEYBOARD!!!!
alot of people were let in at a discount because they did not have enough money(many only brought $5-$10 total)
O really? You couldn't let my friend in with the Rx8 though? I had to hand you $20 just so he could get in!

again i didnt tell them to kick out moon. he talked to me then demanded security then the track owner. after that i have no idea what happened. the only person i told to leave was jason for cursing at me and saying he was going to physically attack me. nobody has the right to talk to me like that. even over $5!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It wasn't over $5. It was over your SCAM!

its also amazing how opinions change once you guys are behind a keyboard
Its amazing how upset people are that went to a car show that is supposed to be one of the best over here!

It would be one thing if there was an actual....SHOW. Pay $30 to enter your car and only $5 for the people that only came to SEE the show.

I met some good people there so it wasn't a total lose, but it should have been delt with better.

so i was looking. i never posted the prices for rotorfest? if i did someone show me where please

my favorite buddy in the world put $5 per person on the website he made. there was never any mention of any other prices. unless i'm blind i searched all 3 forums. so basically all of this is over $5. since the price went from $5 person to $10. nobody ever asked me how much it was to enter the car show or any other prices. i guess i'm slightly to blame there

did everyone think it was $5 to do everything ?? also $5 per car/truckload of people. it is true you cannot park at a drag strip for less than $10(not in nj). this is pretty ridiculous. i'm done reading this thread

New England Dragway is another option if you dont mind going a little farther north,

A few acres of showcar area, large paved pit's, good concessions. i cant quote pricing but can get you contact information for our marketing director if you liked

$5 a person... so why did me and my passenger get charged ten... and then ten for my car? you know, i wish that person had actually done something physical to vosko. he's worthless & an embarassment to rotary owners everywhere.

Vosko you trying to make me look like a fool, when your just making yourself look more like a ******* *******. YOu hold an event and dont post the price for admission on 3 ******* forums wtf is wrong with you.

I showed you the site, if you were a good organizer you woulda said oh **** jason the track said its $10 per person so plese change it. But based on your agrument today you said the track JUST SUDDENLY changed the price. Then that means you AGREE It was $5 till today when it was $10

So my man, dont dig yourself a ******* bigger hole that i gotta throw you in.

$5 was the price, you saw the site, you commended me on getting it up and ****, you never disagreed with the price. I even asked you if the price was the same to which you replied yes.

So doesnt make a difference that i posted it (after you review it and agreed) since the TRACK decided to charge $10 per person and $10 for my transformer RX-7 (which counts as one person).

So therefore it was $5, until to day when it was $10 per person and $10 per transformer rotary.

So keep trying to get out of this one.

EDIT: Also read what your write, i have on the wesbite $5 per PERSON not truckload of ppl dick head!

When the track owner says it $5 per person, guess what, its $5 per person. You can't just get some extra pocket change by scamming others.

nobody ever asked me how much it was to enter the car show or any other prices. i guess i'm slightly to blame there
Your absolutly to blame there. YOU Should have mentioned how much it was to ENTER your car in the show and how much to View the show and also had the 2 park in different locations.

You are twisting your own words and you had no intention on telling anyone about this change. YOU BLAMED IT ON THE TRACK OWNER!!!!

did everyone think it was $5 to do everything ?? also $5 per car/truckload of people. it is true you cannot park at a drag strip for less than $10(not in nj). this is pretty ridiculous. i'm done reading this thread
$5 per person for the show. Ya. I heard $10 from over the loud speaker for the drag strip specifically speaking to the RotorFest show. That would be $15 or $20 if you had 2 people in the car.

I want my $45!

I guess I left before all of this **** happened.

I don't know about everyone else but I payed $20 to get in with my car. Thats a reasonable amount of money. Hell go to E'town and try to get in with a car for that. Whenever i go to VW show's with my buddies it is $20 for a spectator at etown then another 10-15 for a car.

I really hate to see Rotorfest die, it's the only time I get to meet up with other rotary fans and bullshit about the cars we love.
