It's not going to DIE. People with common decency and common sense are going to take over and get it back to the way it SHOULD be... not a money making scam for some greedy jerk off.

New England Dragway is another option if you dont mind going a little farther north,

A few acres of showcar area, large paved pit's, good concessions. i cant quote pricing but can get you contact information for our marketing director if you liked

-Jacob
I will be up for that or another closer location that still works for others without the SCAMMING. It would need to be well organized. I wouldn't mind pitching in a hand if needed. If its held again next year at the same location, don't count me in.

Im not making this trip next year with my 8. This was my first and last. That basterd strait out lied and blamed it on the track to my face. I wasnt there to show and I never filled out papers to register. If I do happen to make it back and see any of the three guys at the gate ill have my truck and a big chain. The track official told me I dont give a **** if your a vet or handicaped. Screw you and that track, Moon.

6:59pm Island Dragway Is Closed Everyone Must Leave Before 7pm!

I really didn't mind the price to much, but I wasn't expecting to pay $10 to get the wife in. What happened to Rotary only drag racing after 5:00? This is the one time I get to race with only rotary powerd cars, but I ended up racing some muscle car and having to wait for Junior Dragsters and test and tune dragsters.

If your going to have a car show atleast have some judges judging the cars. Not someone walking around with a piece of paper picking his favorite.

yeah they usually have a dj but it is one of the guys who belong to the club that puts on the show. So I am sure the club helps out with the cost of his insurance.

I try to plan on coming to the meets that you throw but most of the time my cars are giving me such a head ache that I just don't want to do anything. Gotta love the rotary for that.

Didn't the car show participants vote for each gen in 04? I think we all got a paper and got to vote for the car in each class and then the votes were tallied. Let all the enthusist vote and not just a select few.

Well I just got all of Voskos Information. To bad he left some important information on his website.

One pic on his "Vosko" site gave me just enough info to get the rest.

yes like everyone else was expecting if you were going to be in the car show then obviously there should be some reasonable cost to pay for the penny pincher trophies nah mean.

Too bad those hondas and dodgegs that entered the car show (which is mandatory) are not eligble to win. So why the **** you put them into a mandatory car show where your not allowed to win because you dont meet the requirements

Dude keep running your mouth and your fingers, keep em coming, your still loosing.

Correction you lost.

EDIT: How many times can one contradict themselves in one post. first you say all Rotarys have to be a carshow, therefore non rotary are not allowed in the carshow but then you have best non rotary, wtf. Just say you wanted to charge one flat price to all the cars to make sure you banked right

Thats YOUR price. Your not covering your *** by saying this or anything else, this just goes to show that your a premeditated scammer.

BTW, if this REALLY was the price, why, after posting this price on the forum, did you say to everyone that entered the car show, it was a last minute change by the TRACK OWNER! Wait, you also said it was miscommunication between you and the track owner, still blaming it on the track owner that said $5 per person.

I never wanted to "enter" my car in the show since its not show quality. Its nice to know he entered EVERYONE into the show without letting them know.

yeah your totally true, vosko thinks hes defending his position, if you lie you just dig a bigger grave, tell the truth and you shall be set free.

no one is going to get you if you wanted to make a few bucks and charge $10 instead of the parks $5 so this way you can cover the cost of you working SO HARD advertising and organizing this diffucult event.

Today he jsut decided it was $10 for you, $10 for your freind and $10 for your TRANSFORMER of a car

Yep, I loved that. What was it? Every person who paid to enter the meet area got a paper and they chose what they thought was the best in each class. That should come back. Plus it made it fun for everyone.
