sorry for newbie question.
by launch control do you mean something that will electronically hold your revs at a predetermined point till you let the clutch out?
What do you want to do with the car? ie drive it every day, autocross ocasionally or go for more of a track oriented car you rarely drive on the street except for the weekend and car meets?
I believe Mr. GSGT up above there is single turbo, Rgordon and Alexdimen are also good sources for technical FD info.

go back about 10 pages and readup on what a bunch jerks we can be sometimes

I would get Fighter's Garage, RX7.com or Rotary Extreme. They are probably the best on the market. However, if they break you have to buy a new set. Just an FYI.

I would go with Rotary Extreme. Fighter's garage is almost impossible to adjust.

Description of Rotary Extreme:
with hard chromed steel ball, zinc plated carbon steel body, heat treated steel alloy race, wear resistant, self-lubricating, 3 piece rod end, ultimate radial static load: 7400 lbs. The price includes 12 rod end seals.

For more information go to www.rotaryextreme.com

I'm want to get an A-spec 500R. I've heard so many good things about it. It should be able to go all the way up to 20psi and 500rwhp. However, I'd just stay at stock spring power =P

hahaha, I'll give you a ride, but no drive =P

Robin, wont even let me drive his car, but he's got a good reason LOL

I understand....I dont think my vert is a big deal, but hesitant on who just rides in the car....I would let you drive mine, in return you let me drive yours.....But my car will be much slower so I guess it would be no point in your place, huh?????

hahaha, I'm just a bit worried about there not being a lot of WIDE open roads around here, and since cops are out so much I wouldn't wanna get on it or let anyone get on it. However, this is also my prized possession car, so it's my pleasure to be the only one who can drive it ^_^

I hope you understand what I'm saying though. I would love to drive your car, but I'd also be afraid to damage someone else's car because I probably won't be used to driving it. Unless it's a honda, I wouldn't want to try and take it all the way =P

Hey, I feel you....I felt the same way when I bought the n/a fc I have now(first car,15 years old at time of purchase) Of course my n/a used to be in excellent condition, but I wouldnt let anyone drive it......This is a different story, of course......But hey, just getting a ride will do justice.....I guess until I can get my own fd.......Nah, I will stick with the fc's........

you may have to mod the S4 bell housing to get it to fit or if you can swap the the S5 bell housing over - don't know if that will work though
Do you have the S4 trans already?
My suggestion would be to go ahead and stick in whatever cheap used trans you can find and save up for an actual rebuild.

that may screw up your gear ratios, ie weird rpm range for shift points
and you won't get better gas mileage, guarantee it

If anyone is interested I have a old set of Hoosier A6s mounted on stock FD rims that I am selling. They have 5 or 6 autocrosses on them. They have one slice from a fender catching them, but I have run with them since then and have had no problems.

$150 and they are all yours!
